The binary files are flat 16 bit data, 2 layers, 21600 rows, 43200 columns, compressed with the GNU gzip utility. Upper left corner is 180W, 90N. Each pixel is a 30 arc second cell.
CAVEAT: These files are provided as a courtesy to users having difficulty with the officially released data file format. These are not the official data product releases.
